Wild turkeys can be hard to spot. They have great camouflage and are hard to fool. Learn about turkeys - their adaptations, history and habitat where they live. Participants will also learn about the special calls that turkeys make to one another and will attempt to make a turkey call that replicates the sound a hen makes.

Hand sewing opens so many possibilities to young artists. It's a practical skill and a beautiful art form for young creators. Making a personal plushie is a great first step to becoming familiar with threading, knotting, spacing, and the calming rhythm of sewing felt.

We welcome young participants to experience sewing with their favorite grownup, so each registration will be for one child AND one adult.
